Sarina Sugar Shed

Sarina Sugar Shed is a unique miniature working sugar mill and distillery - the only one of its kind in Australia.
Enjoy an interactive tour of the mill and sample some of their produce including award-winning ginger beer, spirts and liqueurs, ice cream, and chutneys. Following the tour, it's lunch at Sarina Beach - a beautifully calm beach, home to nesting turtles.
The multi-award winning Sarina Sugar Shed is one of the Mackay region’s most enjoyable attractions.
Eungella National Park

Travel west from Mackay through hectares of cane fields to the beautiful Finch Hatton Gorge - Eungella National Park - Australia’s longest continuous stretch of sub-tropical rainforest. Marvel at the lush flora and volcanic boulders on our hike to Araluen Falls (1.6km) where you can take a refreshing dip below the falls or relax in nature and take in the spectacular views. To top off the day, we then make our way back down the gorge and stop in at Pinnacle Pub - famous for their ‘Pinnacle Pie’ - a must try for lunch...
