Experience the small but mighty village of Crows Nest, located a short drive from the heart of Toowoomba.
Take a meandering drive through beautiful countryside to the Crows Nest Historical Village where you will meet with your guide for a brief introduction to the pioneering days and early settlement of Crows Nest. You’ll country baking at it’s best with fresh out-of-the-oven scones and other delicious baked treats before you wander on foot around the captivating village.
Afterwards, you’ll have time to explore the restored 108 year old Nolans Block and it’s emporium collective of beautiful unique shops such as the Potager – home to local high country produce – and Home Country Collective which showcases local artists’ homewares.
Finishing off the day will be a long table lunch at the renowned Myrtille Bistro. And it really is renowned – people travel distances just to get a table. Next door they have My Little Blueberry – a patisserie of the most amazing sweets, just in case you have room for more.
