Walk Talk & Taste - Brunch to Lunch

  • MEETING POINT: You will meet your host Kellie at local Margaret River cafe – THE HAIRY MARRON – 69 Bussell Hwy (south bank of the Margaret River) at 9.30am sharp. Your tour includes breakfast and lunch so it is recommended you not eat, or only have a light breakfast beforehand.
  • DRESS CODE: Your tour is by foot so please wear suitable shoes. It is forecast to be a top of 20 degrees and partly cloudy, so sun screen and hat is advisable.

On this sociable, four-hour walking tour (no more than two kilometres), you’ll enjoy coffee by the river, breakfast in an old settlement, local cheeses, chocolate, charcuterie, truffle products, wagyu beef barbecue, gelato, and premium artisanal wines, with Kellie from Walk Talk Taste as your host.

Learn about the traditional Wadandi custodians who live by the six Noongar seasons in what was once a very different landscape and culture.

At the Old Settlement, you’ll experience how the first European settlers survived in this dense and distant forest country, striving against all odds to develop the farms which benefit today’s regional food and wine producers.
