Dr Chelsea-Leonie Beinke

Dr. Chelsea Beinke is a General Surgeon in Central Western NSW with a dedicated interest in breast surgery. Chelsea grew up in rural Western Australia, commencing her medical career in Perth and has found her way to the lush basalt lands of Orange, NSW. ​

Her clinical focus lies in providing high-quality, accessible surgical services to regional communities, ensuring that distance does not dictate the standard of care. Chelsea is particularly passionate about the integration of modern technology and innovative practices within rural healthcare frameworks to improve patient outcomes and streamline care.

​Beyond her clinical work, she is deeply involved in medical education and the development of surgical curricula. As the convenor for this conference, Chelsea is committed to fostering a collaborative environment where practitioners can share insights into the challenges and triumphs of surgical practice outside metropolitan centres.

On her days outside of the operating theatre, Chelsea enjoys cooking tasty treats, exploring Australia’s back yard and singing badly.
